Crazy week

This week was a little bit crazy - especially the Wednesday. But we should start with the events that led to apogee on Wednesday:

• approximately a month ago I have purchased tickets for my long overdue vacation trip to Poland,
• learning from my previous trip (on-line connection starvation!) I decided to get myself GSM phone an a local SIM card,
• so I ordered Samsung D900i unlocked phone and two SIM cards (Polish and international[Mobal],
• I have also been researching new notebook computer for some time (my Dell is aging!),
• a week ago I grabbed a 'weekly paper' at Circuit City and found pretty tempting deal on Toshiba Satellite U305,

Quite surprisingly, all ordered phone items were scheduled to arrive on Wednesday. Also on Wednesday, I gave up and ordered the notebook on-line with store pickup (to save shipping costs). Of course I'm typing this blog entry on the new machine...
So, the 'Tech Week' is over and I'm looking forward to the new one. I wouldn't mind if it was 'Rest Week' for a change...

Sunday Night Blues

To put it gently, Sunday evenings and nights are not my preferred time of week. You can already smell that Monday/workday odor approaching you...
At least the day wasn't too bad:

• the weather was cool, but sunny
• I went out to do some shopping
• I bought new album by Annie Lennox "Songs of Mass Destruction"

I went for 'Deluxe' edition, because Annie is my favorite, and I enjoy some extra contents with my music. So far I am not disappointed.
